Split PDF by Pages
Cut a PDF into consecutive parts by entering page ranges. Each range becomes its own file.

How ranges become files
Type the ranges in one line, separated by commas. Entering
1-3, 4-7, 8-10
produces three PDFs:
pages-1-3.pdfpages-4-7.pdfpages-8-10.pdf
Ranges do not have to cover the whole document and they do not have to be the same size. Download them one by one, or grab everything at once as a ZIP archive.
When to split by page range
Splitting by range suits documents that already have a structure you want to preserve as separate deliverables. A scanned batch of three invoices can become three invoice files. A course handbook can be divided into modules so students download only the part they are studying. A merged set of application forms can be separated again into one PDF per applicant before archiving.
If you instead need a handful of scattered pages in a single new document, the page extraction tool is a better fit. For a file-per-page result, try splitting into individual pages.
Everything stays on your device
The split runs in your browser with JavaScript. No copy of the document is uploaded, and the parts you generate exist only until you download them.
