About

Split PDF is a simple, free browser-based tool for splitting PDF files without uploading documents to a server. It does one job: turning a PDF into the smaller files you actually need — a single page, a range, a set of ranges, or every page separately.

Privacy first

Most online PDF tools upload your document to a server. This one does not: the file is read and rewritten by JavaScript inside your browser tab, so contracts, payslips and medical records never leave your device. There are no accounts, no file history and no cloud storage. Read the privacy page for the details.

Deliberately small

The site is static and intentionally light, which keeps it fast and easy to maintain. New to it? Start with the guide to splitting a PDF.
